Mulch Management Pty Ltd has been contracting vegetation management services for nearly 20 years gaining hands on experience in a variety of fields including roadside slashing and mulching, gorse control, powerline easement vegetation management, hedge cutting, forestry plantation waste management (including failed plantation mulching) and whole tree chipping. We have chosen to use the latest John Deere tractors to drive our in-house designed and purpose built Reach-arm Slashers, Flatdeck Slashers and Mega Mulchers. We also have a range of equipment for manual and mechanical tree removal and trimming plus stump grinding.

In our initial stages we quickly came to realise that the existing range of new machinery on the market was, and still is totally inadequate for effective vegetation management. Since our founding we have been continuously innovative in our approach to Best Practice and this has resulted in the design and development of purpose built sophisticated machinery we now use. It is clearly evident that our policy of constantly questioning our methods and machinery will continue to deliver even greater efficiency and productivity now and in the future.

Mulch Management Pty Ltd is currently subcontracted to Aurora Energy Pty Ltd who is the principal Energy Network Operator in Tasmania. We are resposible for vegetation management of their Distribution Line easements in various areas across Tasmania. This type of work has grown steadily over the last serveral years and has proven to be an extremely cost efficient and aesthetically pleasing way of long term vegetation management. We also contract to the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (DIER) Tasmania plus numerous councils across Tasmania. In 2003 Mulch Management Pty Ltd became the first primary subcontractor for maintaining the vegatation on the state highways across Tasmania under the DIER statwide contracts.
